At roomT, we help young expats settle in NYC with secure, fully furnished apartments and great roommates. No guarantor, credit score, or 40x income proof required, just your passport, visa, and email.

What is roomT?

All the furniture you see in the pictures are included in the rent, plus all the things you can’t see; mostly dishes, cutlery, vacuum, mop, etc. Utilities are not included, and are usually around $80 per room per month.

What’s included in the rent?

We do not ask for a guarantor, credit score, or proof of salary (40 times the monthly rent per year). We just need your passport, visa, and your e-mail address to send you the lease.

What is the booking process?

3 Is there a minimum stay?

We typically ask our tenants to stay at least 4 months to avoid a too high turnover in our apartments. Please note that our leases start on the 1st of the month and end on the 30th or 31st of the month. We do not accommodate for early departures (e.g. before the end of the month). We do not rent on a month to month basis and we generally do not renew leases for less than a couple months.
